Position: Practical Nursing Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit a thorough understanding of the Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) environment.
  • Administer prescribed medications to clients, ensuring adherence to treatment protocols established by healthcare providers.
  • Keep accurate and detailed records of client interactions, treatments, and progress notes.
  • Conduct comprehensive intake evaluations for new clients, collecting vital information to tailor care plans.
  • Measure and record vital signs, assisting with physical assessments as required.

Required Qualifications:

Must hold a valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Experience working with populations affected by substance use disorders or mental health issues is preferred.
