Job Title: LPN for OBGYN

At WomanCare Centers, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. As an LPN for OBGYN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care: Obtain vital signs, chief complaints, and update patient medical charts with precision and attention to detail.
  • Health History: Record health history with accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Lab Specimens and Testing: Collect lab specimens and conduct point-of-care testing with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Critical Thinking and Prioritization: Prioritize tasks and apply critical thinking skills to ensure effective patient care.
  • Assisting Providers: Assist providers with exams and patient care, setting up for and assisting with in-office procedures.
  • Anticipating Patient Needs: Anticipate patient care needs based on presentation and provide support within the scope of your practice.
  • Supply Management: Monitor in-office supply and report when items are needed.
  • Cleaning and Sterilization: Clean and sterilize equipment and workspaces to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Patient Education: Educate and empower patients throughout the medical process.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with teammates to provide and receive support necessary to succeed.

Requirements:
  • Active LPN License: Active, unrestricted License of Practical Nursing required.
  • Multi-Tasking and Prioritization: Ability to multi-task and prioritize based on care needs.
  • Excellent Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • OBGYN Experience: OBGYN experience a plus, but not mandatory for someone willing and eager to learn.
  • Athena's EMR Experience: Athena's EMR experience a plus.
