Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Mitchell Martin. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interview patients to explain MRI procedures and request removal of hazardous metal objects
  • Position patients on examining tables and place coils close to areas of interest
  • Enter patient data and scan sequences into computer systems
  • Monitor patient safety and comfort during exams
  • View images on display screens to ensure quality
  • Maintain patient care, comfort, and safety during exams
  • Administer contrast agents under guidance of site Radiologists
  • Cooperate with facility healthcare personnel and comply with facility policies and procedures
Requirements
  • ARRT registered as an MR technologist
  • New York State Registered Technologist with Injection
  • Active BLS training
