Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering food products to various customers while adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. This role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth within the company.
Responsibilities:- Deliver food products to customers in a safe and timely manner
- Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and coworkers
- Perform pre/post trip inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Load and unload trailers as needed
- Maintain accurate records of hours of service and enter logs in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- A valid CDL A license
- 12 months commercial driving experience
- A clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
- Able to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift
