Valuation Analyst

The ideal candidate will possess a natural aptitude for delivering outstanding service to both internal and external clients within a professional services framework. Responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the creation of business valuation reports and associated analyses.
• Conducting research specific to industries, including capital markets data, industry trends, and legislative and regulatory frameworks.
• Preparing engagement letters, detailed information requests, and various correspondence throughout the assignment.
• Participating in meetings with clients and their professional advisors.

Success in this role requires the following qualifications:

• Possession of one or more valuation credentials (e.g., ABV, ASA, CBA, CVA) or plans to obtain them shortly.
• Exceptional communication and technical writing skills.
• Highly organized with strong documentation and record-keeping capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

In addition to the above qualifications, preference will be given to candidates who:

• Hold an MBA degree.
• Have prior experience in business valuation or M&A activities.
• Possess a background in corporate and personal income tax and/or finance.
