We are seeking a dedicated Chemical Production Technician to join our team. This role involves various tasks and responsibilities related to the operation of our production department, ensuring smooth and efficient chemical manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain strict adherence to company safety policies and procedures, taking immediate action in case of potential hazards or unsafe practices.
  • Ensure clear and effective communication with the relieving shift through written and oral pass downs.
  • Collect samples throughout all production stages and deliver them to the laboratory for analysis.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, collaborate with external vendors during on-site maintenance activities, and verify the completion of maintenance work.
  • Monitor and meticulously record temperatures, pressures, and flow rates, identifying any upward or downward trends.
  • Utilize process control computer interfaces to maintain variables within target ranges.
  • Conduct required production quality control checks and ensure that plant purification parameters meet specifications.
  • Assist in troubleshooting potential issues and provide support to colleagues when problems arise.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Communicate with engineers, maintenance technicians, laboratory personnel, and other team members to identify maintenance needs and plan/schedule maintenance activities.
  • Actively participate in personal and professional development initiatives aligned with company standards.
  • Engage in training programs and respond to emergency situations as required.
  • Strictly adhere to all operating policies and procedures.
  • Ensure work stations are free from hazardous materials.
  • Demonstrate understanding of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Abilities
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and software applications.
Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in a chemical manufacturing environment is preferred, but not mandatory.
