Job Overview

Compensation ranges from $50.00 to $75.00 per hour.

This role involves overseeing the redevelopment projects at a major airport.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough inspections, manage field testing, and ensure proper commissioning of projects.
  • Assist in handling construction change orders and generate detailed weekly and monthly reports.
  • Evaluate and confirm construction schedules and updates in collaboration with clients.
  • Review contractor payments, maintain accurate labor documentation, and ensure payroll certifications are met.
  • Guarantee site safety, compliance with all permits, and coordinate effectively with adjacent projects.
  • Monitor compliance with safety, health, and quality standards.
  • Minimize public disruption while managing contractor submissions, RFIs, and shop drawings.
  • Compile punch lists in conjunction with the owner upon project completion.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required.
  • Possession of a New York State Professional Engineering license is preferred or the ability to obtain one.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management or related fields is essential.
  • Completion of an OSHA 30-hour safety course is preferred or the ability to complete it.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary.
  • Experience with airport construction projects, including taxiways and runways, is mandatory.

Transportation and parking will be provided.
