Position Summary:

The selected candidate will support the powder coating team by preparing materials through various techniques. Responsibilities include cleaning and dipping materials, among other essential tasks.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare components for coating processes.
  • Ensure all items are prepared efficiently and meet the company's quality standards and customer delivery timelines.
  • Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Load and unload items onto fixtures.
  • Maintain and clean equipment properly.
  • Execute all tasks safely while following established operating procedures.
  • Set up and calibrate equipment according to work orders.
  • Communicate relevant information to the Supervisor/Manager to ensure effective operations.
  • Conduct quality inspections throughout production runs.
  • Notify the Supervisor/Manager of any production line disruptions or irregularities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager or their designees.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to collaborate within a team and follow directions.
  • Manual dexterity and stability for precision tasks.
  • Comfortable operating power tools.
  • Strong ability to comprehend and follow instructions in various formats.

Education and Experience:

  • Previous experience in coating and sandblasting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience is desirable.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to see fine details at close range.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Capability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
