Job Summary


The Pediatric Care Specialist will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care and support. This role involves providing nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents, as well as assisting with various medical procedures and treatments.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide practical nursing care to patients in accordance with the Minnesota Nurse Practice Act, recognized professional standards, and Park Nicollet Health Services policy.
  • Support multiple areas within a clinic setting with strong interpersonal skills and flexibility while maintaining patient confidentiality and protecting patient rights.
  • Assist with medical procedures and treatments, such as administering medications and injections, performing laboratory specimen collection, and processing.
  • Work effectively in a team environment to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.


Requirements


To be successful in this role, you should possess a current state license of practical nursing and one or more years of nursing experience (preferably in a related field of medicine). Additionally, you should have strong clinical and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
