We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Nurse to join our team at PeaceHealth Saint Joseph Medical Center. As a critical care registered nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to emergency room patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Manage complex medical situations, including cardiac, med/surg, pediatric, and trauma cases.
- Operate ventilators, insert IVs, and perform other critical care procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency experience required.
- 1 year of EPIC experience preferred.
- Tele Interpretation, Ventilators, IV Insertion required.
- Nitric Oxide preferred.
Our 45-bed Emergency Department is a Level 2 trauma center, seeing 200 patients per day. We are a fast-paced environment that requires seasoned RNs to provide high-quality care.
Benefits- 36 hours of guaranteed work per week.
- 3x12 variable shifts (0700, 0900, 1100, 1300, 1500, 1900).
- Open to accommodating block schedule.
- 1 holiday off per year.
