The State of Nebraska is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Court Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our judicial branch, you will be responsible for overseeing the administrative functions of the court, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws, and providing exceptional customer service to the public.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and oversee court operations, including planning, organizing, and evaluating administrative processes and procedures.
- Supervise staff, including prioritizing and assigning work, conducting performance evaluations, and ensuring staff are trained and follow policies and procedures.
- Evaluate the efficiency of the court's administrative functions and investigate procedural changes, preparing recommendations to the court.
- Administer the court's budget, overseeing expenditures and budgetary items, and maintaining all records.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a strong background in court administration, including experience in supervising staff and managing budgets. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
