The State of Nebraska is seeking a highly skilled Court Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our judicial branch, you will be responsible for overseeing the administrative functions of our court, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws, and providing exceptional customer service to the public.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and oversee court operations, including planning, organizing, and evaluating administrative processes and procedures.
- Supervise staff, including prioritizing and assigning work, conducting performance evaluations, and ensuring staff are trained and follow policies and procedures.
- Evaluate the efficiency of court administrative functions and investigate procedural changes, preparing recommendations to the court.
- Administer the court budget, overseeing expenditures and budgetary items, and maintaining all records.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An Associate's Degree in judicial, public, or business administration or a related field.
- 3 years of progressively responsible experience in court administration or another business setting, including some supervisory experience.
