At ZCS Engineering & Architecture, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Professional to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for developing project designs and construction documents for single and multi-discipline projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in professional design, strategic thinking, and collaborative skills. You will work closely with our senior staff to generate project design and construction documents, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and laws.
Responsibilities will include:
- Utilizing experience and knowledge from coursework to design architectural/engineering projects.
- Generating project design and construction documents with oversight from senior staff.
- Performing code reviews and ensuring project compliance.
- Assisting on projects during construction through review and processing of RFI's, material submittals, and periodic on-site construction observation.
- Collaborating with project partners, including in-house disciplines, owners, architects, and sub-consultants.
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in architecture or engineering from an accredited program, demonstrated critical thinking skills, clear and concise oral and written communication skills, strong proven technical skills, and a valid driver's license.
The physical demands of this role include the ability to sit or stand for long periods, repetitive use of hands and fingers, and occasional lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying of materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
