Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, to align with the operational needs of the organization.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel amenities and services.
  • Manage deliveries received outside of regular business hours, adhering to established procedures.
  • Monitor surveillance systems as directed.
  • Investigate alarm activations and follow the appropriate protocols.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises, utilizing designated equipment, and document all findings and actions taken.
  • Ensure guest room access is secure and assist guests in accordance with privacy regulations.
  • Respond promptly to incidents involving guests or employees, following departmental guidelines.
  • Adhere to state laws and company policies regarding the management of intoxicated individuals.
  • Document incidents involving vehicles, thefts, or other relevant occurrences.
  • Facilitate the safekeeping of guest valuables as per established procedures.
  • Uphold the confidentiality of all security-related reports and documents.
  • Provide support to other departments as needed to enhance guest services.
  • Deliver security services for events and meetings as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training is advantageous.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a similar role, engaging with the public.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests, management, and colleagues.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Ability to perform tasks with attention to detail, efficiency, and professionalism.
  • Physical stamina to manage the demands of the role.
  • Capability to ensure the safety of individuals and property.
  • Maintain composure and courtesy in challenging situations.
  • Ability to meet performance standards under pressure.
