We are looking for a skilled Post-Anesthesia Care Nurse to join our outpatient facility. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional nursing care to patients recovering from vascular procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
- Collect clinical data and evaluate patients prior to their procedures.
- Ensure that all written orders, consents, and laboratory work are completed and documented according to facility protocols.
- Administer recovery room care and conduct discharge evaluations.
- Contact patients ahead of their procedures to provide necessary pre-operative guidance.
- Follow up with patients post-procedure to conduct thorough post-operative assessments.
- Maintain proficiency in all emergency operational protocols and initiate emergency interventions as required.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Demonstrated proficiency in IV insertion is essential.
Licensure:
Must possess a current state license to practice as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).
Education:
Graduate from an accredited nursing program is required.
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification are mandatory.
