Job Title: EHS Executive Director

Sealed Air Corporation is seeking an experienced EHS Executive Director to lead our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs across the entire organization.

Job Summary:

The EHS Executive Director will be responsible for defining, implementing, and monitoring EHS programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws. This role will lead a team of regional EHS professionals and work closely with plant-based employees globally to ensure all programs are brought to maturity, frequently refreshed, and constantly re-evaluated.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and execute the company's EHS strategic plan.
  • Develop and continuously upgrade all health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Provide direction and support to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Establish work practices across manufacturing operations to meet or exceed internal and external safety and environmental standards.
  • Mitigate unsafe working conditions and employee behaviors through improved machine design, engineered controls, and best-in-class training programs.
  • Monitor performance of EHS programs and refresh as needed to remain compliant with internal and external regulations.
  • Drive EHS performance through continuous improvement on all Key Performance Indicators.
  • Perform thorough root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for all EHS recordables.
  • Establish a sustainability roadmap to deliver on SEE's sustainability commitments.
Requirements:
  • BS in Occupational Health or Engineering, MS, MBA, and/or CSP preferred.
  • Proven experience in administering and auditing critical safety programs in manufacturing environments.
  • 10 or more years of experience in managing EHS in a manufacturing environment.
  • 5 Years' experience as a regional or global EHS Director.
