Job Title: Materials Procurement Specialist

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $75,000 per year

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Materials Procurement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective supply of materials, and maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for requesting and tracking samples, creating deposit letters, placing orders, processing order confirmations, checking invoice inquiries, executing buyouts, and ensuring timely and cost-effective supply of materials to job sites.

  • Request and track samples.
  • Create deposit letters.
  • Place orders, process order confirmations, and check invoice inquiries.
  • Execute buyouts.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective supply of materials to job sites.
  • Order additional materials as requested by Project Coordinators.
  • Track orders and request Proof of Delivery (POD), Bill of Lading (BOL), and Packing Lists.
  • File material claims.
  • Manage attic stock.
  • Dispute charges and fees.

The ideal candidate will have experience in strategic sourcing and financial management, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have strong customer service orientation, experience in collecting and analyzing data, and ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
