Job Description

Overview:

Houston Foam Plastics is an innovative company providing foam plastics solutions into various market applications. Our focus lies in packaging and construction, with expertise in fabricating polyethylene, polypropylene, polyisocyanurate, EPDM, and polystyrene foam plastics.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum (based on location and experience)

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a skilled Procurement Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring orders, contracts, and requisitions, ensuring timely delivery of products that meet specifications.
  • The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in procurement and purchasing, with a strong understanding of proposals, organizational objectives, and customer service.
  • Key responsibilities include locating suppliers, obtaining product information, comparing prices, specifications, and delivery dates, and creating and maintaining purchasing files and reports.
  • A strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under deadlines are essential requirements for this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
