Job Title: Senior Retail Sales Associate

AutoZone is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Senior Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a Senior Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for driving sales through exceptional customer service, exceeding customer expectations, and providing a WOW Customer Service experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide WOW Customer Service by exceeding customer expectations and providing a personalized shopping experience.
  • Ensure assigned store tasks are completed in a timely manner on assigned shift, including operating cash registers and following established cash handling procedures.
  • Follow company policies and loss prevention procedures to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and ensure store appearance and merchandising standards are met.
  • Utilize ZNET to help customers locate merchandise or find suitable alternatives, and maintain product knowledge and current promotions through AutoZone systems and information sources.
  • Practice GOTTChA and assist with the installation of wipers blades, batteries, and light bulbs, and utilize OBDII to read codes from customer's automobiles.
  • Diagnose automobile problems and recommend solutions, and communicate with managers regarding customer concerns and employee matters.
  • Actively engage in developing more effective customer service skills and provide honest and trustworthy advice to customers regarding the best products that fit their expectations.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills are essential.
  • Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise, and work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including holidays, evenings, and weekend shifts.
