Job Summary

The Walsh Group is seeking a skilled Earthwork Foreman to oversee the daily operations of a construction site in Goodyear, AZ. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising a crew of 3-15 employees, coordinating schedules, and ensuring the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of assigned craft workers
  • Schedule and coordinate activities with other trades
  • Read and interpret construction plans and specifications
  • Locate and mark site locations and placement of structures or equipment
  • Record personnel, production, and operational data
  • Provide assistance to workers engaged in construction activities
  • Examine and inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites
Requirements
  • 5 years of construction foreman experience preferred
  • 5-8 years of verifiable construction experience required
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience managing crews and subcontractors
  • Ability to communicate effectively with crew members, project management, and vendors
  • Ability to read and understand work plans
  • Ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffold/ladder
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather conditions
