Advanced Practice Clinician

At Allergy Partners, we are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Clinician to join our team in providing exceptional patient care. As an integral member of our healthcare team, you will work in a fast-paced office environment and be responsible for taking patient history and recording information in patient charts.
Key Responsibilities- Taking patient history and recording information in patient charts
- Conferring with physicians about new patient findings and potential diagnosis and treatment
- Exercising professional judgment regarding consultation with supervising physicians concerning appropriate treatment
- Developing and implementing patient care plans, instructing and counseling patients, and recording progress
- Prescribing medications to the extent allowable by state guidelines and clinic regulations
- Providing diagnosis and treatment services to established patients
- Formulating and updating patient care plans; consulting with physicians as needed
- Performing patient education duties; showing immunotherapy videos, handing out brochures, and directing patients to specific Internet sites for more information
- Acting as backup and putting patients in rooms as needed
- Transmitting prescription requests to pharmacy; documenting action in patient chart and obtaining physician signature of approval
- Overseeing appointment bookings and ensuring emergency situations are scheduled appropriately; maintaining timely flow of patients
- Returns patient phone messages at designated times throughout the day; documenting action taken in patient chart
- Triaging incoming telephone calls; instructing patient and family regarding treatment instruction, then documenting action taken in patient chart
We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a full-time position, working approximately 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
