POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Financial Accountant is accountable for overseeing and facilitating the accounting functions within the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain comprehensive records of financial transactions, including assets, liabilities, and income statements.
  • Review, analyze, and prepare financial documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards.
  • Conduct financial analysis to generate insightful reports for management.
  • Compile and review financial statements to guarantee timely and precise reporting.
  • Resolve financial discrepancies by gathering and evaluating account data.
  • Address inquiries regarding accounting procedures by interpreting relevant policies and regulations.
  • Execute month-end journal entries and perform general ledger reconciliations within set deadlines.
  • Generate necessary financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis as required.
  • Ensure that financial records are maintained accurately and submitted punctually.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
  • Carry out other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline is required.
  • A minimum of two years of accounting experience in a healthcare environment is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
