About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team at Airgas. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising cylinder fill plant operations to ensure safe and efficient production of gaseous products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate cylinder requirements with regional branches to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Train and develop assigned personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Conduct regular performance appraisals of assigned personnel to identify areas for improvement and provide feedback.
  • Delegate or directly direct and coordinate plant activities to optimize efficiency and economy of operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including FDA, OSHA, EPA, and DOT requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of plant activities and operations.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree (A.A. or A.S.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, and a minimum of five years' industry-related experience and/or training.
  • At least two years' supervisory experience.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 60 pounds and move more than 125 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment.
  • Ability to obtain a forklift operator certification.
  • Valid Driver's License.
