Hatchery Technician

Perdue Farms, a leading provider of premium proteins, is seeking a skilled Hatchery Worker to join our team. As a key member of our hatchery operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of our products.

• Work in all areas of the hatchery, with a primary focus on the transfer crew and processing crew as needed.
• Perform duties such as tray egg transfer, incubator loading, and cleaning and disinfecting equipment.
• Assist in chick processing functions and monitor machines and equipment for proper operation.
• Perform minor maintenance duties and adhere to all safety rules, including PPE and Process Safety Management.

• Ability to work independently and adapt to various positions and procedures.
• Good mechanical abilities and ability to lift egg cases weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Exposure to temperatures ranging from 60 - 105 degrees, humidity up to 100%, and a wet, damp, dusty environment.
