About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead our flagship restaurant in delivering unparalleled service, exceeding Michelin standards, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain impeccable service standards, educating staff on French service technique, culture, and personalized customer service.
  • Create and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure seamless daily operations.
  • Audit food, beverage, and quality control checks to continually improve service standards.
  • Lead shifts, making daily decisions, scheduling, assisting with project management, and planning vision.
  • Foster a culture of hospitality, ensuring guests have memorable experiences, making authentic connections, and being available for continuing communications.
  • Investigate and resolve complaints concerning food quality and service.
  • Be present on the floor, assisting every member of the FOH team, including wine service, in all facets.
  • Coordinate and oversee events, banquets, and special functions, ensuring they run smoothly and meet or exceed guest expectations.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by tracking emerging trends, attending educational workshops, and reviewing professional publications.
  • Develop employees through coaching, setting annual SMART goals, and improvement plans if required.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date staffing plans.
  • Understand and follow closing procedures.
  • Overview standards and steps of service according to the service manual.
  • Execute wine service when needed during the evening for guests, assisting with selections, and providing personalized guidance.
  • Provide educational outlets, mentorship, and supplies for the FOH staff to enrich and strengthen their skills and knowledge in company philosophies and food/beverage.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of food and beverage management in a luxury restaurant.
  • Experience in Michelin standards.
  • Managerial and leadership skills, including honesty, strong work ethic, and high moral integrity. Believes in hands-on management style.
  • Hospitality and operations expert in the luxury food and beverage industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel). Knowledge of Accounting, POS, Reservation Software.
  • Ability to make decisions, problem solve, and lead a full brigade including BOH team.
  • Expertise in operations, P&L analysis, and manager development.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
