Job Title:

Manufacturing Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Stellant Systems. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of our traveling wave tube products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide manufacturing oversight to specialized assembly processes
  • Support tooling processing across product lines
  • Create and update assembly instructions, process instructions, and in-process-record forms
  • Generate and update router instructions for assembly and rework operations
  • Maintain records of manufacturing yield or problem trends
  • Help train and certify operators to perform various manufacturing tasks
  • Prepare for and participate in manufacturing readiness reviews
  • Manage manufacturing tooling and equipment
  • Work with other engineers to define requirements for new or upgraded tooling and equipment
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or technical discipline
  • 2 years of engineering experience supporting mechanical manufacturing processes
  • Ability to read prints, implement and track statistical process control charts, and write clear and complete assembly instructions
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word, as well as database software
  • Effective verbal and written communications skills
  • Experience with welding, brazing, and vacuum processes is highly desirable
