Job Summary
Elbit Systems is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our Product Development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development of system-level concepts for new project proposals, reviewing and critiquing concepts created by others, and providing technical presentation support and consultation to marketing for proposals and during development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead effort to create system-level concepts for new project proposals, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Review and critique concepts created by others, providing constructive feedback to improve design and functionality.
- Prepare Systems Engineering cost and schedule estimates on major design development efforts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Provide technical presentation support and consultation to marketing for proposals and during development, ensuring effective communication of technical information.
- Plan and lead experiments to evaluate operating characteristics of products or processes, translating experimental results into design criteria.
- Support System Integration, Verification and Validation by defining, specifying, and supervising testing, analysis, and integration activities, ensuring reports are prepared to document results.
- Support the design review and phase gate process to ensure that engineering deliverables meet FDA/ISO requirements and standards.
- Oversee the development of requirements for different disciplines, including Software, Electrical, Mechanical, Electro-optics, and others.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- 5 years of complex electro-mechanical instrument systems engineering experience.
- Hardware/software integration experience.
- Must be available for daily onsite presence.
Preferred Requirements
- Master's degree in Engineering.
- Medical Device experience.
- Extensive development experience in at least one or more of the following engineering disciplines: software, mechanical, electrical, optics, fluidics, and knowledge of advanced theories, concepts, principles, and processes.
- Ability to provide technical leadership as required during the investigation of complex medical instrumentation products.
