Job Summary:We are seeking a highly qualified professor of psychology to oversee the Master of Arts in Psychology program. The ideal candidate will have a terminal degree in psychology and relevant licensure, with a strong commitment to teaching, research, and service.
Key Responsibilities:- Recruit and advise students for the MAP program, including follow-up of requests for information and formulation of marketing materials.
- Review and evaluate applications for admission to the graduate program.
- Represent the MAP program at professional meetings, university committees, and graduate program committees.
- Develop semester schedules, including assigning instructors and adjuncts.
- Locate, interview, and recommend adjuncts for the program.
- Supervise the development and updating of curriculum.
- Develop and update the annual budget.
- Terminal degree in psychology with relevant licensure.
- Strong commitment to teaching, research, and service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
This is a 12-month contract position.
