Job Summary

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and troubleshooting low-voltage controls systems, including conduit, wiring, end device installation, terminations, control panel fabrication, and wire/controls tagging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and verification of low-voltage controls systems, including conduit, wiring, and end device installation.
  • Commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic equipment and systems related to the Building Automation System (BAS).
  • Proficiency in identifying HVAC system and control components, including VAV controls, BAS controls, and peripherals.
  • Proficiency in installing control devices, including KE2, Varis, and Jene control cabinets, temperature probes, outside air sensors, and T-stats.
  • Installing and troubleshooting 0-480v circuitry.
  • Inspecting, testing, and troubleshooting low-voltage power equipment and systems, network communications, end devices, peripherals, valves, and actuators.
  • Calibrating electrical or electronic equipment and instruments according to technical manuals and written instructions.
  • Commissioning BAS systems, end-to-end verification, and reporting any anomalies.
  • Providing daily updates to the project manager.
  • Performing related duties as assigned by the project manager.
Requirements
  • Ability to work 7 days a week.
  • Ability to travel for 4-6 weeks at a time.
  • Proficiency in recognizing proper and improper installation of BAS, refrigeration, and HVAC control devices and peripherals.
  • Proficiency in utilizing smart phones, tablets, and laptops, including Microsoft suite, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Electrical forms.
  • Ability to communicate professionally to customers, internal and external, including project managers, lead technicians, and end users.
