Assistant Boys Soccer Coach

To provide a supportive and challenging environment for students to develop their soccer skills and knowledge. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for coaching and a commitment to the well-being and success of all students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive coaching plan that aligns with the school's athletic program goals.
- Lead practices and games, providing guidance and feedback to students.
- Develop and maintain a positive and respectful team culture.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Monitor and report student progress and behavior.
- Assist with team management, including scheduling, equipment, and transportation.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance coaching skills and knowledge.
- Support the school's mission and values.
Requirements:
- Possess a strong understanding of soccer fundamentals and coaching principles.
- Have experience working with students of various skill levels and abilities.
- Be able to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Have a strong commitment to student safety and well-being.
- Be able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Have a strong understanding of the school's athletic program goals and objectives.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to move quickly and safely around the soccer field.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment as needed.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Possess a valid coaching certification.
- Have a strong understanding of first aid and emergency procedures.
- Be able to pass a background check.
