Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Hospitalist / Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at Sioux Falls Specialty Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing primary and episodic patient care, evaluating and treating patients for work-related injuries/illnesses, and developing treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat patients for work-related injuries/illnesses
  • Develop treatment plans and provide comprehensive physical examinations
  • Counsel patients regarding their condition and follow-up care
  • Review and implement the occupational health program

Work Schedule:

This is a PRN position, working as needed, typically on Saturdays and/or Sundays. Saturday shifts are 4-10 hours, and Sunday shifts are 2-4 hours.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree from an accredited Certified Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program
  • Licensure in the State of South Dakota, or ability to obtain SD license upon hire
  • BLS and ACLS certification, or ability to obtain upon hire
  • At least two years of experience in urgent care, emergency, or family practice
