Primary Care Physician

Responsibilities:- Provide primary care services to veterans, including routine check-ups, diagnostic testing, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
- Lead a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, medical assistants, and other support staff, to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management, lifestyle modifications, and referrals to specialists as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including specialists, to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including data analysis, process improvement, and education of staff and patients.
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
- Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, or eligibility for certification.
- At least 2 years of experience in primary care, including experience in leading a team of healthcare professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
