Job Description:

Promotes and protects the optimal health status of students by providing comprehensive health assessments, obtaining health histories, and identifying abnormal health findings.

Provides emergency nursing management for injuries and illnesses, promotes and assists in the control of communicable diseases, and provides health education and anticipatory guidance.

Serves as a resource person to school staff members in health instruction, ensuring that students receive high-quality healthcare services.

Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse
  • CPR Certified
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience in emergent care nursing, school health nursing, or pediatric nursing
Education Requirement:

Knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this position include a strong understanding of healthcare principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
