Job Overview:

The Orbus Visual Communications Group is a leading innovator of impactful visual solutions, with facilities located across North America. We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Applications & Integration Lead to join our team in Woodridge, Illinois.

About the Role:

This is a on-premise role that requires flexibility to travel to Canada and our Charlotte, NC office. The successful candidate will be responsible for all operational and revenue-generating enterprise applications & middleware integrations. As a strategic partner, you will work closely with business leaders and functional leads to review, assess, and justify new technologies for adoption.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project teams to define, design, develop, configure, integrate, and implement applications/solutions and background processes as they relate to Enterprise applications.
  • Engage with application business leads to achieve process improvements, new systems capability, and cost efficiency for existing applications.
  • Evaluate, select, and implement new technologies to enhance applications, where necessary.
  • Review, assess, and justify new but fully emerged technologies for adoption.
  • Recommend strategic, operational, and competitive functionality for the revenue-generating applications.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint to achieve business objectives and document all solution architecture design and relevant analysis work.
  • Accountable for proper functioning of the applications, integrations, maintenance, and timely upgrades.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years relevant experience as an Application and/or Integration Lead, manufacturing industry experience a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with integration platform as a service tool (iPaas), database query language, reporting/BI tools, O365 SharePoint Online, workflow applications, eCommerce platforms, RPA, and ERP systems.
