We are seeking a dedicated Inpatient Psychiatric Hospitalist to provide comprehensive psychiatric care within a dynamic healthcare environment. This role focuses on delivering high-quality inpatient services, managing a growing number of psychiatric beds, and collaborating with a skilled multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 100% inpatient psychiatric services, supporting a current capacity of 13 beds with plans for expansion to 20 beds.
- Engage in daily rounding on hospitalized patients and respond to psychiatric consult requests from various medical and surgical wards.
- Collaborate with a team that includes a Chair of Psychiatry, experienced Psych Physician Assistants, and a part-time Psychiatric MD.
