Aegis Worldwide is seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician to support our esteemed automotive manufacturing client. This position is a full-time opportunity with a focus on day shifts, providing a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.
Working Hours: Day Shift (approximately 7 AM to 3 PM or 8 AM to 4 PM, with flexibility)
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and OSHA regulations.
- Manage and secure laboratory data and documentation.
- Procure laboratory supplies and assist in the design of testing fixtures.
- Set up and operate laboratory equipment, including MTS Flex Test software.
- Conduct and oversee tests, document findings, and liaise with engineering teams.
- Maintain cleanliness in the laboratory and ensure proper data management.
- Support adherence to IATF 16949 and ISO 17025 protocols.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive testing.
- Proficient computer skills, with CAD experience preferred.
- Minimum OSHA 10 Certification.
- Strong knowledge of automotive industry specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, time management, and communication skills.
