Our Location

Welcome to The Belgrove, a distinguished new property in the Pyramid Global Hospitality portfolio set to open this year as a 4-Diamond resort. Located in the heart of West Palm Beach, our resort will feature 150 elegantly designed rooms and villas, multiple exquisite restaurants, a world-class spa, and a stunning golf course.

Job Summary

We are seeking a committed and passionate Housekeeping Supervisor with experience in a luxury hotel to lead and guide the team to be the best that they can be in accordance with the Belgrove Resort standards of quality. The Housekeeping Supervisor provides overall support to the operations of the housekeeping department, including managing the housekeeping team, inspecting rooms and public areas, and maintaining inventory.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the housekeeping team, assigning duties to room attendants and leading the team
  • Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure they meet cleanliness standards and hotel policies
  • Respond to housekeeping requests from guests or management in a timely, efficient, and friendly manner
  • Maintain inventory, monitoring cleaning supplies and equipment and ordering supplies as needed
  • Maintain a positive attitude, encouraging a positive attitude among team members and guests and treating them with respect
  • Train, motivate, coach, counsel, and discipline staff members
  • Maintain a regularly scheduled cleaning program
  • Update room statuses in the computer
  • Follow policies, including OSHA regulations and all policies and procedures
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak the English language
  • Previous supervisory experience in a luxury hotel required
  • General knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safety preferred
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds and carry up to 10 pounds
  • Must be able to spend the majority of the day walking, twisting, bending, pushing, and pulling
  • Strong attention to detail required
  • Must be able to work under pressure and simultaneously prioritize multiple projects
  • Must be flexible in hours and days worked
  • Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with many types of personalities
