POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for the operation of various electrical construction machinery, including but not limited to aerial devices (bucket trucks), cranes, digger derricks, backhoes, bulldozers, drill rigs, and other related heavy equipment utilized in the electrical construction sector.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must possess a valid CDL Class A.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required.

Additional Requirements:
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Work is conducted outdoors, with exposure to varying weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and noise.
  • Flexibility to work in diverse locations across the state or country for extended periods, as necessary.
  • Adherence to Company safety protocols and policies is mandatory.
  • Willingness to undergo and pass a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Capability to perform all assigned duties safely and effectively.
  • Ability to comprehend and convey information while collaborating in a team setting.
  • Physical capability to stoop, kneel, crouch, dig, climb, and reach.
  • Able to lift, carry, and position heavy materials.
  • Must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Participation in E-Verify is required.
Physical Demands:

This position necessitates the physical ability to climb, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, and perform repetitive motions.

Physical Activity Levels:

C (Constantly) - More than 66% of the time (5.5+ hours/day)
F (Frequently) - 33%-66% of the time
O (Occasionally) - Up to 33% of the time

Specific Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as rubber gloves, hard hats, safety glasses, goggles, and face masks.
  • Good sense of balance.
  • Capacity to maintain awkward positions or postures.
