Salary and CompensationThe estimated hourly pay range for this role is $23-$35 per hour, making it 25% higher than the average. You'll also enjoy customized pay periods, allowing you to get paid weekly or even daily.
Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing exceptional nursing care to residents in post-acute facilities
- Measuring and monitoring vital signs, reporting to your supervisor as necessary
- Observing resident conditions and reporting concerns to the broader nursing team
- Serving meals and assisting with feeding as needed
- Supporting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, mobility, and toileting
- Cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, maintaining a hygienic environment
- Serving as a conduit between medical staff and residents, communicating with visitors
- Moving residents safely and repositioning them as needed
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- Current Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Knowledge of medical terms and basic nursing care procedures
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills with medical professionals and residents
