Job Title: Quality Assurance Auditor at Aspire MRO

POSITION SUMMARY: The Quality Assurance Auditor plays a crucial role in maintaining exceptional quality and customer satisfaction within the Quality Management System (QMS). This position focuses on monitoring and auditing adherence to internal, regulatory, statutory, and customer standards. The role does not include supervisory responsibilities and reports directly to the VP of Quality.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform audits of the repair station, facilities, vendors, subcontractors, suppliers, and manufacturers to verify compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Clearly and logically present audit findings.
  • Collaborate with management to address and resolve audit outcomes.
  • Engage with the Purchasing department to evaluate vendors and suppliers.
  • Assess internal processes for regulatory compliance.
  • Work alongside experts to develop, implement, and refine internal policies and procedures.
  • Manage Corrective Action Requests (CARs) and ensure follow-up on verifications.
  • Execute other assigned tasks as necessary.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Airframe & Power Plant license.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation maintenance, with at least 2 years in a quality-focused role.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in aviation or a related field of auditing.
  • Direct experience in MRO with significant alterations.
  • Formal training in quality auditing methodologies.

SUCCESS FACTORS/JOB COMPETENCIES:

  • Expertise in interpreting and applying regulatory requirements such as 14 CFR Parts 145, 135, 121, 91, 65, 43, and 21.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Repair Station Operations.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication abilities in both verbal and written formats.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
