Director of Quality Job Description

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Director of Quality to lead our quality assurance efforts in Texas.

Job Summary:

The Director of Quality is responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on quality assurance procedures and protocols
  • Develop and maintain quality metrics and reports to track performance

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality assurance supervisory role
  • 3 years of experience in a progressive supervisory role interpreting and understanding of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations
  • Valid and current FAA A&P and IA certificates
  • Basic computer literacy (Windows, Spreadsheets, Word, PowerPoint, and Internet Functions)
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
