We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ski Resort Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of Loon's Children's Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the center, including programs, staffing, training, budgeting, and customer relations.
Key Responsibilities- Program Management: Develop and implement programs that meet the needs of our guests, including children's lessons, daycare, and ticket sales.
- Staffing and Training: Manage a team of staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance and repair of facilities, both indoor and outdoor, to ensure a safe and clean environment for guests.
- Customer Relations: Foster strong relationships with guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all transactions, including financial records and guest information.
- Compliance: Ensure that all operations are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including those related to child safety and welfare.
- Policy Development: Collaborate with the Director of Human Resources and Snowsports Director to develop and implement policies that support the success of the Children's Center.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business or hospitality.
- Four to six years of experience in a related field, such as ski resort operations or child care.
- PSIA Level 1 certification or equivalent.
