We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sports Instructor to lead our sports programs for children and adults of all ages. As a Sports Instructor, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging sports classes, promoting physical activity, and fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement sports programs that cater to diverse age groups and skill levels.
- Provide clear instruction, feedback, and positive motivation to participants.
- Maintain a safe and organized playing environment, adhering to YMCA guidelines and policies.
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and community partners to ensure a positive experience for all.
- Manage attendance records and ensure compliance with attendance, participation, and safety policies.
- 1-2 years of related experience in sports coaching or a similar field.
- CPR, First Aid, and Emergency Oxygen certifications (provided upon hire).
- Excellent relationship-building, conflict resolution, and coaching skills.
- Detail-oriented, strong organizational, and planning skills.
- Develop your leadership skills in a caring, challenging, and diverse working environment.
