Key Responsibilities- Tax Return Preparation and Review: Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns, including 1040, 1065, 1120S, 1120, 990, and 1041.
- Mentorship and Training: Mentor and train junior staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to ensure compliance with tax regulations and develop tax strategies to minimize their tax liabilities.
- Quality Control: Ensure quality control standards are met and deadlines are adhered to.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (CPA preferred).
- Experience: 4-6 years of recent experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax preparation and review.
- Skills: Familiarity with tax software (CCH Axcess or CCH Prosystems preferred), strong analytical skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
