Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Analyst to join our team at InsideHigherEd. As a key member of our Financial Aid Department, you will be responsible for performing advanced specialist duties and providing technical support for our office automation systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct system investigations, including troubleshooting, data cleaning, and database object repair for Ellucian Banner, National Student Loan Data System, Common Origination & Disbursement, ELMSelect, and other third-party software.
  • Respond to information requests, collect and reconcile complex data, and develop processes to refresh or maintain data for testing and development purposes.
  • Design, implement, and maintain Structured Query Language (SQL) queries and rules to automate Financial Aid programs.
  • Research and interpret Federal and State regulations for software and process implementation and upgrading.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual reports for administrative decisions and federal requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Two years related work experience or experience in a related field.
  • Ability to solve operational problems and make suggestions for process improvement.
Working Conditions

This position may require up to 40% remote work during off-peak periods, as determined by the supervisor.
