Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to join our team. As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff at a single site. Your primary objective will be to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and supervise housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff
- Lead teams to complete light housekeeper, heavy housekeeper, and laundry aide duties on varying shifts
- Conduct staff training, quality control, and in-servicing
- Maintain income and expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment records
- Act as liaison between building occupants or administrators and HCSG staff
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years' experience in Environmental Services in a healthcare environment and personnel supervision
- Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
- Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously
- Compliance with COVID-19 Vaccination Policies, as required by State, Local, and/or Customers
