Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Tansitor is currently seeking an experienced Production Supervisor responsible for overseeing a team of manufacturing employees during first shift operations. We’re looking for a highly motivated and results driven leader to support our production goals, quality, and cost objectives.
Job Location:
Vishay Tansitor is located in Bennington, VT and is the world’s number one manufacturer of wet tantalum and conformal-coated capacitors worldwide. Tansitor has approximately 100 employees between 3 shifts.
What you will be doing:
- Directly supervises production process and personnel
- Performs administrative responsibilities for production personnel including timekeeping, progress review, and corrective counseling
- Monitors, evaluates, and interprets date to ensure process integrity and specification compliance
- Controls and monitors operation of production equipment
- Compiles and enters production data records
- Trains and develops production staff regarding policies, procedures, and related responsibilities
- Provides accurate and specific data and input to production support departments and personnel
- Meets with scheduling, engineering, and other support departments as needed
What you will bring along:
- Minimum 5-years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or related production area with a strong technical background in related production equipment operations
- B.S. Degree in electrical, mechanical or business-related discipline or High School Diploma with equivalent job related experience
