Lead Custodial Services Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to serve as a Corrections Officer in the County of Scott Iowa. As a Corrections Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of inmates and the orderly operation of the jail.
Job Summary
The Corrections Officer will be responsible for enforcing rules and regulations, supervising inmates, and maintaining a safe and secure environment. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain a safe and secure environment
- Supervise inmates and provide guidance and support as needed

Benefits
The County of Scott Iowa offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
- A starting wage of $24.34 per hour, increasing to $25.31 per hour after 6 months and $26.32 per hour after 1 year

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in a related field, such as law enforcement or corrections
