Job Summary

This position is primarily responsible for sales accounting activities, including daily review of margin changes, monitoring and updating accruals, tracking credit memos/rebills and inventory, tracking expenses, preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and weekly and month end closing activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Collaborate with sales/BU analysts, inventory, CSRs, RMG, sales/plant accountants and controllers to ensure seamless accounting processes
  • Provide primary contact for sales accounting inquiries and perform other duties as needed
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in an academic field directly related to accounting, finance, or business
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Computer Skills: Intermediate computer skills, proficient in SAP and MS Office applications, advanced knowledge of Access preferred
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Supervisory: None
  • Special Skills: Ability to multitask, good interpersonal skills, understanding of financial statements and related disclosures
