Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide top-notch patient care, ensuring their safety and comfort in our Cardiac Step-Down Unit.
  • Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and assess patient conditions, responding promptly to any changes.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families about cardiac health, recovery, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and effective communication regarding patient care.

Requirements:

  • Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Licensure: Unencumbered Ohio State RN license or Compact License.
  • Experience: One year of acute care RN experience required.
  • Certification: BLS Certification is required. Any other certifications required will have 6 months from date of hire to obtain.
  • Attributes: Strong critical thinking skills, effective communication, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
